Arizona school grades: F-rated charter schools could close

This week the State Board of Education released new A-F letter grades for more than 1,800 schools across Arizona. The ratings are based on standardized test scores, improvement in those scores, student attendance rates and other factors.

First-place finish for American Heritage cross country

Over 500 athletes came out to compete from dozens of schools from around the state. All the schools were part of the growing Canyon Athletic Association (CAA). This season, AHA put together its first Cross Country team since they joined the CAA.

April 1 was Flyday for students at both Camp Verde and Cottonwood's campuses, as six students not only rode in a Cessna aircraft, they also had an opportunity to take the controls and fly through the air.
